Sunrise at Giverny

14 - Sunrise at Giverny in Frame

The first light of day moves through the tall trees and illuminates Monet’s Japanese Bridge at Giverny. One of his boats can be seen moored by the shore, waiting for the master painter. This painting recreates the golden glow of morning as it contrasts against the cool blue and purples of the lily pond. As the sun’s ray traverse over the bridge, the weeping Willows and lilies are brought into view. The depth of the shadows and the golden, morning light provide a unique perspective, depicting the solitude and tranquility of the beautiful garden created by Monet.
